## The Problem

HubSpot’s Culture team wanted a character animation video for their annual Bring Your Family to Work Day event, following the style of existing illustrations. Vendor quotes were way over budget and too slow for the team's needs.

## The Solution

Designed and executed an AI-first animation workflow that expanded the world of illustrated characters and brought them to life, while keeping brand and style consistency. The process was then productized into reusable templates for future videos.

## Results

90%

Cost savings vs. vendor outsourcing

5

Reusable templates for future videos

## Technical Details

### Tools

Figma Weave, Creatify, Nano Banana 2, Seedance 2.0, Kling 3.0, ElevenLabs, Premiere Pro

### Workflow

Built character sheets & environments. Created a storyboard with VO. Motion graphics + AI video generation & final assembly.

### Key Learnings

Generation wait times for frontier models generated bottlenecks, so ran parallel workflows in node-based tools to speed up the process.
